Accounting Clerk

The Account Clerk supports all functions within the Finance Department and is responsible for a variety of daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks that pertain to the accounting functions of the company.

Running reports and analyzing data
Entering financial transactions
Reconciling statements and accounts
Maintaining financial records
Reviewing transactions and documents for accuracy and completeness
Applying analytical and critical thinking to assigned tasks
Researching transactions
Maintaining files (electronic and hard copy)
Assisting other Accounting Clerks during periods of heavy workflow
Completing tasks normally assigned to other Accounting Clerks during employee absences
Assisting the Controller or Others as requested
Completes assigned tasks accurately, timely, and in accordance with the rules and guidelines as set forth by the Controller, company policy, or outside agency
Assists Customers, Suppliers, and Others as needed or directed
Maintain confidentiality
Special projects or other duties as assigned
