Accounting & Finance Executive

About the Role

Ibtdara is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support the company’s financial and compliance requirements.

This is a fully remote position. We particularly encourage applications from graduates of LUMS, IBA, NUST, LSE, and FAST-NUCES with a strong academic background and an interest in building a career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping, financial records, and reconciliations.
  
• Prepare and issue quotations, invoices, and financial reports.
  
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payment follow-ups.
  
• Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
  
• Handle tax filings and financial compliance.
  
• Prepare documentation and support audit processes.
  
• Assist with cash-flow monitoring, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• Graduates from LUMS, IBA, NUST, LSE, or FAST-NUCES preferred.
  
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with a strong academic background may also apply.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting.
  
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Strong English communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and tax compliance.
  
• Experience working in a remote environment.
  
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
