Accounting Intern
Accounting Intern, Part-time
Duties include:
- Pull monthly reports and review data
- Scanning
- Assist Accounting Department with creating monthly invoices
- Data entry in accounting software
- Enter monthly journal entries
- Assist with Front Desk coverage, as needed
- Follow our Company’s standard accounting processes
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting (or related, i.e. Finance)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Self-starters preferred!
- Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks preferred, but not required)
- Must be drug free and maintain a clear appearance
- Must be felony free and have valid driver’s license
- While scheduling will remain flexible and accommodate schooling, applicant must contribute at least 20-25 hours per week (intervals of four hours or more)
- Preferred availability of Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
