Accounting Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and records.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, client fund distributions, and expense tracking.
- Support bank reconciliations and help resolve financial discrepancies.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with firm procedures.
- Collaborate with accounting and legal staff to support daily operations.
- Handle confidential financial and client information with professionalism.
Required Qualifications:
- Current college student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Available to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Dependable, professional, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or office experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or administration.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software.
- Interest in a career in accounting, finance, or business operations.
- Reliable transportation for occasional travel between DFW offices.
