Accounting Lead

You will manage startup clients and ensure accurate, timely, and scalable month-end closes. You will oversee monthly financial reporting for 20 to 40 clients, train preparers, communicate with founders, obtain close information, and clean and establish books for new clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships
• Create, review, and issue monthly financial statements for 20 to 40 clients
• Manage and train the preparer team
• Communicate with clients via Slack and email
• Answer client questions and obtain information for closes
• Clean and set up books for new clients

Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Month-end close

• Reviewing bookkeeper or junior accountant work
