Accounting Lead

You manage client relationships and create, review, and issue accurate monthly financial statements for 20 to 40 clients. You train preparers, communicate with clients through Slack and email, gather information needed for closes, and clean and set up books for newly signed clients. You balance multiple client engagements while maintaining timely reporting and strong financial quality.

• Manage and train preparers to maintain high-quality financials and strong client margins
• Communicate with clients through Slack and email answer questions and obtain information for closes
• Clean and set up books for newly signed clients

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting
• Experience reviewing the work of bookkeepers or junior accountants
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with founders
