Accounting Lead

You will manage startup client relationships and oversee the creation review and timely issuance of monthly financial statements for 20 to 40 clients. You will train preparers, communicate with clients through Slack and email, obtain closing information, and clean or set up books for newly signed clients.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting
• Experience reviewing the work of bookkeepers or junior accountants
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with founders
