We are looking for a tech-savvy Accounting Manager in Munich to establish and maintain internal financial and accounting processes, ensuring accurate bookkeeping. You will be focused on daily operational tasks as well as other exciting global projects., Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Close Process ManagementThe successful candidate will assume primary responsibility for the accurate, timely, and compliant management of the financial close process. This includes: Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Closing: Taking full ownership of the entire financial closing cycle, ensuring all entries, accruals, and reconciliations are completed efficiently and in accordance with relevant accounting standards (HGB). This encompasses managing the closing calendar, coordinating with other departments for necessary inputs, and reviewing preliminary results. Financial Statement Reporting: Preparing and reviewing comprehensive financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) for internal management use and external reporting requirements. This involves ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the reported figures, including detailed analysis of variances and trends.
