What The Role Entails

The Accounting Manager leads the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities for our various corporate development entities located in Europe including but not limited to UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Luxembourg. In addition, the Accounting Manager will lead day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities over data center entities with commercial operations. Along with the Chief Accounting Officer, and the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for protecting company assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

What You Will Get to Do

• Review and approve journal entries
• Review and approve the allocation of company expenses and overhead costs
• Review and approve account variance analysis and reconciliations
• Review, approve, and present monthly and quarterly financial statements including the associated work packages to senior management
• Review and approve invoices for proper coding and prepare for payment
• Review and approve all cross-company transactions and prepare invoices as required
• Review and approve monthly drawdown packages for submission to lenders - Assisting in due diligence on equity investment deals
• Lead the compilation of financial data and other audit requirements
• Review and approve monthly tenant and customer invoices
• Assist with other accounting projects as required
• Work closely with external stakeholders
• Occasional travel to locations, customer meetings, training courses or conferences as desired and required
• Support VAT return preparation in conjunction with indirect tax team
• Supervision and training of young professionals in accounting
