Accounting Manager
Role Overview:
The Accounting Manager supports the Group’s regional and internationaloperations through strong financial governance, accounting oversight, statutorycompliance, financial reporting, and capital markets readiness across multiplebusiness units and overseas entities.
This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-dayaccounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, internalcontrols, and financial governance, while also supporting IPO and capitalmarket-related initiatives as the Group continues its regional andinternational expansion.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, commerciallyaware, hands-on, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced, project-driven,and multinational environment involving cross-border stakeholders and evolvingbusiness requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations
· Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, andannual financial reports in accordance with IFRS and Group reportingrequirements.
· Support month-end and year-end closingactivities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
· Assist in improving closing processes andfinance workflows to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
· Review General Ledger entries, AccountsReceivable, Accounts Payable, fixed assets, and expense reconciliations.
· Support accounting treatment and documentationfor revenue recognition, leases, investments, and other accounting matterswhere required.
Financial Governance & Compliance
- Ensure accounting records and financial reporting are maintained in compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and finance service providers where necessary.
- Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of supporting schedules and audit documentation.
- Assist in maintaining internal controls, finance SOPs, and governance procedures across the Group.
IPO & Corporate FinanceSupport
- Support finance-related projects relating to IPO readiness, corporate restructuring, or capital market initiatives where applicable.
- Assist in preparing financial information and supporting documents for management, auditors, and external advisors.
- Support the implementation and documentation of internal controls and finance governance frameworks.
Tax & Statutory Support
- Assist with corporate tax, GST/VAT, and other statutory filings across relevant jurisdictions.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and service providers to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Support compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements for regional and overseas entities.
Budgeting, Forecasting &Financial Analysis
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises across business units and regional operations.
- Prepare variance analysis against budgets and forecasts and highlight key financial trends or issues.
- Assist in preparing management reports, KPI tracking, and financial analysis for operational and strategic review purposes.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management.
- Assist with corporate tax, GST/VAT, and other statutory filings across relevant jurisdictions.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and service providers to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Support compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements for regional and overseas entities
Cross-Functional &Regional Coordination
- Work closely with internal departments including HR, Legal, Operations, and IT on finance-related matters.
- Coordinate with overseas entities and regional stakeholders to ensure timely financial reporting and operational support.
- Support ERP, finance system enhancement, and process improvement initiatives where required.
Team & Operational Support
- Support the finance team in daily accounting operations and reporting activities.
- Assist in improving finance processes, documentation standards, and reporting workflows.
- Contribute to a collaborative and efficient finance team environment.
Key Requirements
Experience &Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4-7 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Prior experience in audit firms, multinational corporations, or regional finance environments would be advantageous.
- Exposure to Group reporting, consolidation, or regional operations is preferred
- Familiarity with accounting operations, reconciliations, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Professional proficiency in English, including written and verbal communication.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin), including reading and reviewing Chinese documents, would be advantageous to support regional stakeholders and overseas operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent platforms would be advantageous.
