Accounting Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant/Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our organization, including accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Month End Close
- Daily Deposits/Transfers
- Reconciliations
- Preparation and Communication of Daily and Monthly Optical Reports, Sales Statistics Report
- Log outgoing optical packages and send out for distribution
- Completes purchasing for the practice
- Processes discontinued and warrantied optical merchandise returns
- Schedules, conducts and performs inventory audits
- Processing of Purchase Orders
- Coordinates and logs the reallocation of frames between practice locations
- Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of internal controls and procedures
- Knowledge and experienced in all related Microsoft computer applications: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Proficiency in SAGE 100, or equivalent accounting software
- Medical practice experience is preferred
