Accounting Officer
Responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing cash flow, budgeting, compliance, and supporting business growth through financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and payment processing.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Oversee tax submissions and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and external consultants.
- Monitor company expenses and implement cost control measures.
- Review and improve financial procedures and internal controls.
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis for decision-making.
- Support financing applications, banking facilities, and cash management.
- Supervise and guide finance team members.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
- Assist in strategic planning and business performance evaluation
Requirements
- Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience (managerial experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
