General Position Summary:

Responsible for general functions of the Accounting Department as directed by the Accounting Manager and/or the Revenue Auditor Supervisor.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Prepares revenue audits and inventories
Prepares audits for all revenue generating departments
May assist with bank statement reconciliation and accounts receivable a necessary

Secondary Functions:

Performs other accounting duties as deemed necessary, including writing accounting procedures, preparing journal entries and budget preparation

Specific Job Skills:

Knowledge of journal entries, general ledgers, gaming and financial software, MAS 500, spreadsheets (Excel), Microsoft Office Suite, payrolls, revenue audits, accounting procedures and audit principals
Accurate and timely handling of assigned tasks
Typing and/or word processing and filing
Good communication skills (including listening, writing and speaking)
Ability to follow directions
Ability to problem solve
Ability to function in a team-orientated environment
