Hunter Automotive Group is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our accounting team.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable handling multiple tasks, and committed to accuracy and teamwork.

As an Accounting Specialist, you will assist with various accounting functions, including account reconciliations, payment processing, vendor inquiries, and data entry, helping ensure our financial records and daily processes run smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Assist with various accounting functions and daily department operations.
• Help reconcile accounts and research discrepancies.
• Process payments and assist with related documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account information.
• Enter, review, and update financial data in accounting systems.
• File, scan, and maintain organized accounting records.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with deposits and other routine accounting tasks.
• Support the accounting team with additional duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous accounting experience is required.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with data entry, payment processing, or account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using accounting software.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
