Accounting Specialist

The Role
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be a cornerstone of our financial operations. You’ll go beyond basic data entry to support the full accounting cycle—from managing payables to ensuring our financial statements are audit-ready and GAAP-compliant.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and meticulous Bank Reconciliations.
- Lead General Ledger, Payroll, and Benefits auditing to ensure every dollar is accounted for.
- Play a key role in month-end closing and the preparation of financial statements.
- Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting processes to support our continued growth.
- Gather and analyze data to prepare vital financial reports for leadership.
What You Bring:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or healthcare setting.
- Skills: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas).
- Knowledge: A deep, working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
- Reliability: A commitment to accuracy, consistency, and accountability.
