UCT is looking for a talented Accounting Specialist to join us in Cebu!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

· Process and validate supplier invoices in Visual Finance System.
· Perform three-way matching of Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipts (GR), and invoices.
· Investigate and resolve blocked invoices, including price, quantity, and GR variances.
· Coordinate with buyers, planners, warehouse personnel, and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies.
· Monitor AP aging and ensure timely invoice processing.
· Support month-end closing activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations.
· Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation.
· Print and prepare checks, telegraphic transfer (TT) forms, check vouchers, and other payment documents for Local Accounts Payable.
· Coordinate with Treasury and authorized signatories to facilitate timely payment processing.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
· Prepare AP reports and support management requests.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance AP and payment processing efficiency.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

List both minimum and preferred educational requirements.
Also provide minimum and preferred designations (e.g. CPA) or certifications (e.g. AWS)

· Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
· Certifications related to accounting or business is also acceptable.

Experience Requirement:
Describe both minimum and preferred years of experience, previous responsibilities, or industry background (e.g. Minimum 2 years of marketing experience. Preferably in manufacturing/semiconductor industry)

Work Experience:

· At least 1 year working experience in AR & AP.
