Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

Financial Operations

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting entries.

• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.

Treasury and Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash positions and bank balances.

• Maintain records of fixed assets and capital expenditure.

Compliance and Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and requested documents.

• Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.

• Assist in maintaining vendor and customer master data.

• Support ad-hoc projects and finance process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.

• 1-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience preferred.

• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.

Skills & Competencies

• Good understanding of accounting and financial principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
