The Role

We are looking for a Customer Success Manager with a tax or accounting background to guide companies through the financial and compliance complexities of global equity compensation.

You’ll work directly with CFOs, controllers, and finance leaders, helping them navigate equity-related guidance, valuation inputs, equity modifications, and reporting workflows.

Your expertise will shape how customers adopt Slice and will influence the product direction for equity accounting automation.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead onboarding for customers implementing tax- and accounting-focused equity workflows.

● Advise customers on equity-related guidance, valuation models, and stock-based compensation reporting.

● Ensure correct setup and ongoing accounting treatment/compliance for options, RSUs, PIUs, and other equity instruments.

● Interpret modification events, expense impacts, and audit requirements with clarity and precision.

● Collaborate with Product and R&D to improve our accounting modules and accurate accounting & tax reporting across the platform.

● Serve as a trusted advisor to finance leaders navigating both routine and advanced accounting scenarios.

● Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive long-term success.

Required Qualifications

● Background in tax, accounting, financial reporting, or audit (Big 4 preferred).

● Deep understanding of ASC 718, IFRS 2, and equity compensation accounting.

● Experience supporting audit cycles, close processes, or SBC reporting.

● Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to customers.

● Excellent English and collaboration skills.

● Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

● CPA or equivalent credential.

● Experience with multi-jurisdiction tax requirements for equity.

● Experience with equity platforms, payroll systems, or global finance environments.
