Accounts & Admin Assistant (Part-Time)
Summary
Handles daily accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks including invoicing, reconciliations, and compliance filings for a Singapore-based company.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle daily accounting transactions and data entry.
· Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
· Maintain the full set of accounts.
· Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
· Prepare and issue invoices and receipts, and monitor collections.
· Process approved supplier invoices and prepare payments.
· Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
· Prepare monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
· Prepare event-specific profit and loss reports where required.
· Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
· Coordinate with external corporate secretarial service providers where required
· Maintain statutory registers and monitor compliance deadlines
· Support corporate secretarial matters, including regulatory filings with ACRA
· Liaise with external auditors and support audit and tax submissions.
· Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide general administrative support assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- At least 3 years’ relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proven experience managing a full set of accounts independently.
- Proficiency in accounting software, with experience in Xero preferred (experience with QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar software will also be considered).
- Meticulous, organised and dependable, with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Singapore corporate secretarial matters (e.g. ACRA filings, statutory compliance) will be an advantage
