Accounts & Admin Executive (Singapore & Malaysia)
Summary
Manages full-set accounting and administrative tasks for companies in Malaysia and Singapore, including AP/AR, tax filings, and office coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Handle full set of accounts for both Malaysia and Singapore companies.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare payment schedules and process supplier and staff payments.
- Monitor customer collections and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and accounting schedules.
- Prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare and support statutory submissions, including:
- Singapore GST returns
- Malaysia SST submissions (where applicable)
- Corporate tax schedules and audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations in both Singapore and Malaysia.
Administration
- Manage general office administration and documentation.
- Maintain company records, contracts, and administrative files.
- Coordinate office purchases, supplies, and service providers.
- Prepare business correspondence, reports, and internal documentation.
- Support HR and operational administration when required.
OtherDuties
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and operations teams on financial matters.
- Recommend and implement improvements to accounting and administrative processes.
- Travel to the Singapore office when required to support finance and administrative operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience handling full set accounts.
- Experience managing both Singapore and Malaysia accounts is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of Singapore GST, Malaysia SST, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with costing, inventory accounting, and intercompany transactions is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Willing to be based in Johor Bahru and travel to Singapore when required.
