Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Shadeline team as an Accounts Assistant based at Mahiyanganaya. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to manage petty cash transactions, including disbursing funds, receiving receipts, and reconciling balances daily basis and Maintain an accurate record of petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to Petty Cash SOP while support the team in achieving the goals and other ongoing projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage petty cash transactions, including disbursing funds, receiving receipts, and reconciling balances daily basis
- Maintain an accurate record of petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to Petty Cash SOP
- Ensure Daily Petty Cash summaries are maintained with proper approvals.
- Timely recording and depositing of all the cash receipts of the Plant.
- Arrange all the supplier payments relating to the Plant with required approvals timely manner.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in month‐end and year‐end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals to Legato.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Graduates or Undergraduates in related to Finance or Business management Partially qualified in CA / CIMA / ACCA or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth.
- 1‐2 Years previous Work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package; especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in SAP or any ERP system knowledge.
- Strong analytical skills such as PowerBI with the ability to assess data and provide insights.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
