Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Bodywear team as an Accounts Assistant. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to execute the financial accounting process through finalizing the month-end financial statements, verification of petty cash payments, maintenance of fixed assets registers and managing the auditing process in order to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting of the relevant SBUs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily operations by coordinating with business teams, plants, vendors, and customers.
  • Track and manage assigned KPIs and ensure progress through monitoring and analysis.
  • Support data management for reviews, including cash flow, balance sheets, general ledgers, stock accuracy, and operational costs.
  • Visit plants to address issues and provide data-driven recommendations for sustainable decision making.
  • Ensure compliance with company and group guidelines in reporting, balance sheet clearance, and budget preparation.
  • Finalize monthly financials, manage audits, and reconcile intercompany accounts for smooth financial operations.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, support customer order profitability, and manage stock takes.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across finance, manufacturing, and business units for efficient operations.
  • Streamline processes, develop SOPs, and prepare forecasts and data analyses to support leadership decisions.
  • Manage P&Ls, working capital, and ensure adherence to procedures for accurate financial reporting and payments.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Degree / full or part qualification in CIMA, Chartered Accountancy, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.

  • Familiarity with financial reporting, budget preparation, and accounting software.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and organizational abilities.
