Accounts Assistant (Part-time)

Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process and verify employee expense reimbursement claims, ensuring all supporting documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.
  2. Maintain and organize accounting records, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents, ensuring proper filing and easy retrieval for audit and reporting purposes.
  3. Perform data entry and update accounting records accurately and promptly in the accounting system.
  4. Assist in month-end, quarterly GST, and year-end closing activities, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
  5. Liaise with internal departments to follow up on reimbursement submissions, supporting documents, and accounting-related matters.
  6. Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Accounts Department.
  7. Assist with ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Prior experience in accounting or administrative work will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with English- and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Three days a week, 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
