ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATE - PHYSICIAN PAYABLES

We are seeking an experienced Account Associate-Physician Payables to join our Joint Commission International-accredited hospital system in New Providence, The Bahamas. Responsible for performing Corporate Finance duties at a competent level. This position is responsible for processing physician payments, liaising with the Physician Billing and Physician Relations personnel to clarify and confirm outstanding balances with physicians, reconciling outstanding balances due to physicians, providing remittances for all physician payments, responding to queries from physicians with respect to payments and outstanding balances, and other duties as assigned. Accounts Associate-Physician Payables would be responsible for: Processing payments to physicians twice per month—for the period from the 1st to the 15th and from the 16th to the end of the month. Payments must be made within 7 days of the period end. Provide clear, concise remittances to physicians for each payment made. Collaborate with Physician Billing and Physician Relations associates to clarify and confirm professional fees due to physicians and any/all outstanding balances due to physicians. Perform reconciliations for physician payables balances on at least a quarterly basis. Respond to all physician queries within 24 hours. Produces additional reports as required. Assist the Accounts Payable Manager with ad hoc reports as requested by the CFO, SVP of Corporate Finance, and/or VP of Corporate Finance.
