Job Summary
You will manage stock and invoice data entry, reconcile stock-take balances to determine COGS, prepare sales and inventory reports, and coordinate with the Butchery operations team to resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Enter goods received and invoices accurately into the system using correct stock codes and accounts
- Record returns, suppliers’ debit and credit notes promptly and accurately
- Process stock adjustments such as yield-loss or write-offs with attention to detail
- Reconcile ending stock balances from store stock-takes to calculate cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Allocate selling prices, costs, and quantities to sold products for accurate financial tracking
- Create jobs to convert stocks and other conversions into finished goods from production
- Prepare detailed reports using Excel for assigned outlets to support operational decisions
- Identify and highlight variances in stock and financial data for management review
- Communicate and collaborate with the Butchery operations team to resolve stock and invoice issues
- Generate monthly invoices to bill customers accurately and on time
- Participate in company activities and events such as stock-takes to support team efforts
Required competencies and certifications
- At least 2 years of finance experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- Proficient in intermediate MS Excel functions including vlookup, match, and data sorting
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience using ERP systems to manage inventory and financial data
