Processes reimbursements, payments, and accounting entries while maintaining financial records and supporting audits in a corporate finance role.
Accounts Executive
• Review and processing of staff reimbursements claims
• Prepare and process monthly GIRO/Telegraphic Transfer (TT) payments to employees, related parties, local suppliers and overseas suppliers
• Issue debit notes to HQ and related parties
• Post receipt entries for government grants, overnment refunds, insurance claims etc
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries for Prepayments, General Expenses, Accruals and other accounting adjustments
• Maintain the fixed assets register and calculate monthly depreciation
• Prepare monthly schedules and reports to support annual audit and tax purposes
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Process recurring entries for GIRO deductions from leasing companies
• Prepare monthly cash flow reports and quarterly foreign exchange (Forex) reports
• Calculate monthly sales commissions and incentive payable to salesmen
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing the required documents
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
• Candidate should Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification with ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Computer literate, strong working knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge in SAP is an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent team player with sharp analytical skill
