Accounts Payable Officer

Role Overview

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for managing high volume of invoice processing (approx. 800-1000 per month), supplier payments and vendor related transactions with a high level of accuracy. This role ensures compliance with internal policies and financial controls as well as perform month end activities. We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process PO and non-PO invoices, including employee expense claims, in compliance with the No PO No Pay policy.
• Review invoices in ESKER, verifying ABN, GST, payment terms and coding.
• Ensure accurate GL, Cost Centre and WBS allocations.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to supplier enquiries and follow up outstanding approvals and goods receipts.
• Support weekly payment runs and urgent payment requests.
• Verify supplier banking details and identify potential fraud risks.
• Support month-end activities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Positive, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  
• Willing to work full-time onsite in Arcovia, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
