We are hiring a German-speaking Accounts Payable Specialist to join FlexiTog’s Finance team in Helmond, NL on a 7-month fixed-term contract, supporting the team during an exciting period of growth and Finance transformation.
FlexiTog specialises in insulated industrial workwear and PPE for people working in cold and demanding environments. Its European business has grown rapidly, bringing together established businesses across the UK, Netherlands and Germany to create a major specialist cold-environment workwear group.
As our European operations continue to develop, we’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Helmond, NL.
You’ll be responsible for keeping the accounts payable engine running smoothly: processing invoices, making sure suppliers are paid accurately and on time, resolving queries and keeping supplier accounts properly reconciled. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Procurement and Operations, as well as directly with suppliers.
This is a hands-on role for someone who likes getting the details right, enjoys solving problems and doesn’t leave a supplier query sitting in an inbox. German language skills are important for this role, as you'll be supporting communication with German-speaking suppliers.

- Process and verify supplier invoices and expenses, including PO matching, coding and payment preparation.
- Reconcile supplier accounts, resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate AP records.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice and payment queries.
- Support month-end/year-end close, reporting and audit requirements.
- Ensure AP processes follow company policies, financial controls and payment procedures.
Identify payment risks and control issues, escalating where appropriate. - Drive improvements to AP processes and support wider Finance transformation initiatives.
- Professional working German and confident communicating with German-speaking suppliers
- 3–5 years’ Accounts Payable, Finance, Bookkeeping, or similar experience
- Experience with invoice processing, PO matching and supplier reconciliations
- Strong Excel and accounting/ERP system skills
- Accurate, organised and proactive, with strong communication skills
