Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. If you’re an analytical person with a solid understanding of accounting principles and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is for you!

Experience Level: Junior (6 months to 1 year of experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

English Required: 8.0 to 9.0

Education Required: BA/BS Degree and professional experience in Accounts Payable

Location: Cali, Medellín, Bogotá, Barranquilla (all remote)

Workday: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Keep track of all payments and expenditures (purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.)
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Review and code invoices
• Maintain historical records
• Respond to all vendor inquiries regarding finance
• Recommend process improvements for enhanced team performance

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or related fields (6 months to 1 year)
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate confidently both verbally and in writing
• Proactive and able to manage tasks independently
• Strong English proficiency, both spoken and written
• Adaptability to changes
