We're Hiring: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Medellín, Colombia (CAMACOL)

Modality: Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST

Key Requirements

• Advanced English (C1 preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable experience
• High School Diploma required (Associate Degree in Accounting preferred)
• Experience processing invoices and vendor payments
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Main Responsibilities

• Review and code invoices to the appropriate General Ledger accounts
• Obtain required approvals and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare and process weekly vendor payments
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and account balances
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
• Maintain and update vendor records and supporting documentation
• Reconcile Accounts Payable balances and resolve outstanding issues
• Support accounting operations while ensuring compliance and accuracy
