Accounts Payable Supervisor
AllSouth Federal Credit Union, located in Columbia, South Carolina, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our accounting team onsite. This position reports directly to the Controller and plays an important role in ensuring the Credit Union’s accounts payable functions are conducted following credit union policies and procedures.
The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee the accounts payable process, manage the AP system, including building approval workflows, supervise AP staff, review invoice input and GL coding for accuracy, manage the 1099 process and determine appropriate accrual amounts during the month-end close. Additional month-end close duties will be performed as well as assisting with other departmental tasks.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- At least five years of accounting experience.
- A degree in accounting; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
