Responsible for all aspects of billing accounts and correspondence for JHMR and its subsidiaries. Compile department cash deposits into one daily deposit for JHMR, verifying accuracy of each department.

Job Duties

Accounts Receivable:

Produce clear and accurate customer billings and statements on a monthly basis.
Produce customer billings for Wholesale customers on a weekly and monthly basis.
Manage A/R for Sage, Snow Cloud, and RTP accounts including wholesaler, sponsorship, and rentals accounts.
Reconcile all accounts at the end of each season
Maintain accurate customer list with current billing and contact information.
Input charges, receipts and adjustments to each customer.
Respond to customer and department manager inquiries.
Generate and manage intercompany billings.

Review and coordinate companywide collections through A/R aging reports.

Prepare the daily bank deposits for payments made directly to Accounting for all companies.
Enter cash receipts into Sage Intacct and RTP on a daily basis.

Prepare cash deposit journal entries for monthly close
Prepare monthly journal entries for customer rent payments and revenue for employee housing and miscellaneous rental leases
Maintain clear and accurate filing system. File invoices, credit memos and cash receipts in a timely manner.
Reconcile A/R balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis (i.e. employee purchases, accrued receivables, A/R clearing, etc.)
Work with HR to deposit and record employee housing payments and prepare monthly journal entry for employee housing payments, revenue, and receivable balances.

Cashier:

Responsible for all monies deposited into the drop box, verifying accuracy of each deposit for that particular sales location
Distribute & track seasonal banks for profit centers. Collect banks after mountain closes.
Compile all deposits into company daily deposit
Maintain accurate change bank for the company and disburses change as needed
Responsible for management of a secure Cashier room
Coordinate work with seasonal cashier during winter season to ensure cash room coverage and consistency
Perform additional accounting functions as requested.

Present a positive image to employees and the community
Assist with warehouse day to move accounting files
Assist with inventory twice per year

Solid Computer abilities

Ability to perform basic mathematic functions
High school diploma or equivalent required
One-year college Accounting coursework (preferable)
Two years accounting experience preferable.
Strong understanding of RTP and Sage Intacct software preferable.
Cash handling experience
