Accounts Receivable Billing Accountant (9 months contract )

**We are looking for an AR Billing Accountant for a short-term assignment, offering full statutory social insurance coverage and paid leave benefits**

1. Revenue & AR booking

• Record AR and revenue transactions accurately in NetSuite.
• Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with the company's applied accounting standards.

2. Invoicing & Billing

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain sufficient data for monthly invoice issuance.
• Generate from the system and send accurate and timely invoices to clients based on allocated resource efforts, client agreements and internal approvals.

3. Accounts Receivable management

• Monitor weekly AR aging and track outstanding balances.
• Follow up with clients on overdue invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Apply customer payments accurately in NetSuite.
• Proactively manage collections to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding payment status.
• Escalate complex collection issues when necessary.

4. Reporting

• Prepare weekly AR reports and cash flow from AR forecasts.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support team members in completing other weekly and monthly reports.
• Prepare ad-hoc AR related reports when requested.
• Maintain accurate customer records and billing data.

5. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audits related to AR.
• Maintain proper documentation for all transactions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in AR accountant or general accounting.
• Hands-on experience with AR modules in Oracle NetSuite or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles under US GAAP is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, tight deadlines with stakeholders in different time zones.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, is a must.
