Position Overview
Davey Tree is a leader in arboricultural and landscape services throughout the US and Canada. Our Corporate Office located in Kent, Ohio, is seeking qualified candidates for an Accounts Receivable Clerk.
Job Duties
- Preparing cash and check payments for bank deposit
- Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks and credit card transactions
- Posting revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box deposits
- Posting entries from miscellaneous payments
- Researching payment discrepancies
- Help with department tasks to meet daily deadlines
- Daily reports and balancing
- Refund processing
- Run credit card payments
- Aging reports
- Fast-paced environment with daily deadlines
Qualifications
- 2+ years working in Accounts Receivable or Accounting role with large volume experience
- Detail oriented
- Ability to follow up with customers and offices
- Ability to multi-task
- Good research skills
- Team player
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of Word and Excel
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
