Accreditation Program Manager - Risk Management
Summary
The Accreditation Program Manager supports compliance with accreditation standards and state and federal regulations within an acute care facility. The role involves collaborating with the Director of Risk Management to prepare the ministry for external audits and regulatory requirements.
Working in collaboration with the Director of Risk Management, the Regulatory & Accreditation Program Manager functions as support for compliance with accreditation standards, state and federal regulations. Under the general supervision of the Director of Risk Management, the position manages functions to prepare the local Ministry continuum to meet external standards for accreditation, state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Upon hire: CSHA (Certified Specialist in Healthcare Accreditation) or HACP (Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional), or must obtain within 1 year of hire
- 3 years of experience in an acute care facility.
- 2 years of experience working with accreditation standards, and state and federal regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related field.
- Upon hire: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
