ACMV Engineer

Summary

Oversee ACMV and mechanical installations for construction projects, ensuring compliance with specs and safety regulations while coordinating site activities and resolving technical issues.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise ACMV and mechanical works from commencement through project completion.
  • Review project specifications, mechanical drawings and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure ACMV and mechanical installations comply with contract specifications, approved drawings and safety regulations.
  • Review and coordinate the installation, testing and commissioning of chilled water piping systems, pumps, heat exchangers and other mechanical equipment in accordance with project specifications
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor project progress.
  • Attend project and site coordination meetings to review project progress, discuss technical matters and coordinate site activities
  • Investigate and resolve technical and construction-related issues, and provide engineering solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for project execution.
  • Prepare project documentation, inspection records, and progress reports.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with chilled water piping systems, pumps and heat exchangers
  • Able to interpret piping specifications, mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Preferably with relevant working experience in the Singapore construction industry, particularly in ACMV projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
