Acquisition Analyst

The Acquisition Analyst will work directly with the Chief Growth Officer to evaluate and execute upon new acquisition and growth opportunities and have exposure to the management on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:
  • The acquisition analyst will lead the underwriting of podiatry practice transactions
  • Creation and management of pro forma financial operating models based upon practice financials along with integration of those models into the company’s operating model
  • Coordination of practice financials along with creation of diligence materials for the team for discussion and presentation during management meetings
  • Participation in and coordination of third-party diligence and analysis of practice analytics
  • Organization and scheduling of meetings with potential acquisitions, diligence partners, and internal teams
  • Maintenance of internal business development pipeline
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 2+ years of M&A, accounting, finance, or financial statement analysis experience
  • Facility with financial modeling in excel and spreadsheet analysis
  • Intermediate PowerPoint experience with ability to develop cogent presentations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in healthcare or medical provider business is a plus

Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards
  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds
