ACQUISITION PROGRAM SPECIALIST

You will serve as an ACQUISTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the Acquisition and Procurement Management Group, Industrial Acquisition & Procurement Division, Industrial Business Operations Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

You will perform a range of duties relating to preparation of required acquisition documents, analysis, formulation, presentation, and execution of contracts assigned to the Industrial Acquisition and Procurement Division.

You will analyze internal and external data to identify and explain any deviations from pre-established obligations and expenditures, providing support to senior Specialists on all aspects of contractual realms in functional areas.

You will analyze contract fund status reports, review expenditures made by contractors, review reports on performance requirements, determine if progress and expenditures compare with negotiated estimates, and prepare appropriate correspondence.

You will review, prepare and maintain documents on contracts, invoices, memorandums, modifications, etc., assisting with the preparation of documents specifications, requirements, criteria, and standards which define needs and parameters.

You will complete cost break-downs on all vouchers/invoices, establishing and preparing manning objectives and detailed contract provisions to include cost estimations, supply, equipment, and manpower requirements for all service type contracts.

You will document results of cost/price analyses and market surveys, develop data for use in pricing trends analyses, develop cost/pricing data for use in negotiation sessions and present price information to negotiate cost, price and related factors

You will assist Acquisition Program Specialists in making formal presentations on program status, funding status, new proposals/initiatives and policy changes to all levels of officials.
