ACQUISITION REQUIREMENTS ANALYST

Summary

Analyzes and oversees U.S. Army Central’s procurement and contract support processes in Kuwait, ensuring compliance with DoD acquisition policies and providing decision-making data for command requirements.

About the Position: Perform acquisition oversight functions and implement the Area Support Group - Kuwait (ASG-KU), Operational Contract Support Integration Cell (OCSIC). Provides ASG-KU directorates and mission partners with objectively based information for making decisions on the management, administration, and oversight for command requirements and procurement management. Access to Medical and Dental Care in Kuwait is extremely limited. Please see Additional Information section below.

Perform acquisition oversight functions and implement the United States Army Central (USARCENT) G4, Operational Contract Support (OCS) requirements management program.

Provides USARCENT directorates and mission partners with objectively based information for making decisions on the management, administration, and oversight for command requirements and procurement management.

Provides assistance to mission partners with contract support integration, contract support, contract management responsibilities.

Applies experience and knowledge of Federal, Department of Defense (DoD), and Department of the Army (DA) acquisition policies, procedures and processes used to manage acquisition requirements through the acquisition processes and procedures.

Plans, coordinates, implements, analyzes, and evaluates acquisition processes and projects which encompass several command functional areas.

Prepares reports or briefs contract data progress reviews.

Serves as a Trusted Agent Security Manager (TASM).
