Prospect. Close. Grow.
Lori Ramil State Farm is seeking a competitive, driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our agency as a New Business Acquisitions Specialist. This is a highly sales-dominant position for someone who enjoys outbound prospecting, building a pipeline, overcoming objections, and closing business.
We want a motivated professional who takes ownership of results, follows up consistently, and is confident asking for the sale. Prior insurance experience is a plus, but strong sales ability, coachability, and the drive to produce are what matter most.
Licensing Requirements
- Property & Casualty license must be obtained before your first day in the agency.
- A Life insurance license is also required and must be obtained within the agency's established timeframe after your start date.
- Full licensing guidance, study resources, and support are provided throughout the process.
- Already licensed candidates are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- Generate new business through outbound calls, leads, referrals, and proactive follow-up.
- Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other available insurance products, as appropriately licensed.
- Conduct needs-based sales conversations to identify coverage gaps and recommend solutions.
- Build and manage an active pipeline of prospective customers.
- Handle objections confidently and consistently ask for the business.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and pursue referrals.
- Track sales activity, applications, conversions, and production goals.
- Maintain accurate customer records and provide professional follow-up.
What We're Looking For
- Competitive, goal-oriented attitude and strong desire to sell.
- Confidence making outbound calls, leading conversations, and closing deals.
- Persistence, accountability, organization, and disciplined follow-through.
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Coachability and willingness to apply sales training and feedback.
- Previous sales, business development, insurance, or customer-facing experience preferred.
- Ability to meet the licensing requirements above.
Why Join Lori Ramil State Farm?
- Sales-focused opportunity with measurable production goals.
- Full support through required insurance licensing.
- Ongoing coaching, product training, and professional development.
- Opportunity to build customer relationships and a long-term insurance career.
If you thrive on prospecting, enjoy winning new business, and want a role where sales performance matters, apply today to Lori Ramil State Farm.
