ACT Team QMHP
Summary
A Qualified Mental Health Professional provides community-based ACT services in Dallas, delivering direct mental health care, intensive case management, crisis intervention, and medication support within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's level education in psychology, counseling, sociology, social work, or related field.
Our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team is in search of a dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to become part of our team! This is a full-time position within an existing team aimed at providing effective, community-centered mental health services within a multidisciplinary framework.
A Note About Shift Availability:
Shifts will range from early morning, mid morning, and mid day. This includes an on call after hours rotation and flexing hours as necessary. Additionally, since we will be operating 7 days a week, this will include working some holidays.
Your desired shift can be discussed upon interview.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct mental health services in various community settings
- Support clients through intensive case management & treatment planning
- Deliver crisis intervention (including on-call rotation)
- Offer skills training, psychosocial rehabilitation, medication education and assist participants with medication management
- Assist with community integration
- Provide participant transportation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Complete intakes including consent, ANSA, and recovery plan
- Teach individuals how to advocate for themselves in multiple environments
- Enjoy a team approach where you will have another staff member with you when going to most places in the community, including clients' homes and other unfamiliar locations.
