Action Officer I - Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance required for this position.


enGenius is seeking an Action Officer to support a prospective Federal Client in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role requires an individual who can track and drive actions, milestones, and policy recommendations across a government environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with key government stakeholders to understand, track, and drive project status, actions, milestones, and schedules to closure.
  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations to assist government leadership with decision making, policy formulation, and management functions.
  • Develop and implement tracking tools and systems to monitor the status of actions and deliverables across the office.
  • Prepare operations and procedures documentation, briefings, and reports to support government leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure actions are completed on time and communicated appropriately.
  • Manage preparation of read-ahead materials, meeting documentation, and follow-up action items.
  • Assist in maintaining file structures on both classified and unclassified systems to ensure efficient access and retrieval of documentation.


Experience Required:

  • 2 years of experience working with key stakeholders to understand and track project status, actions, milestones, and schedules.
  • Experience utilizing tools for tracking project progress across multiple programs or workstreams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise documentation under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree.


Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Prior experience supporting a defense research and development agency such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) or Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
  • Familiarity with SharePoint environments.


Security Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance. Verification will be required.
