Activities Coordinator - Hospice

Position Description:

We’re looking for an Activities Coordinator who loves people, has a creative side, and can make a little fun happen just about anywhere. You’ll visit our patients in local facilities, plan meaningful activities, build relationships, and bring some extra joy to their day. If you’re creative, flexible, can make bingo sound exciting (or at least give it your best shot), and enjoy driving, we’d love to meet you!

Position Requirements:

• Planning and coordinating meaningful activities for our hospice patients in local facilities.
  
• Building relationships with facility staff and working together to make activities happen.
• Bringing creativity, compassion, and a little fun wherever you go.
• Keeping track of facility visits, activity schedules, and supplies.
• Being flexible when plans change, because they will.
• Understanding that sometimes showing up, listening, and spending time with someone is the most important activity of all.

• Think outside the box and don't believe every activity needs glitter and a glue gun.
• Can walk into a facility and make yourself right at home.
  
• Know that hospice isn’t giving up, it’s showing up differently.
• Have referral partners who already text you memes.
