Now Hiring: Activities Director

Transitions Healthcare in Washington, PA is looking for an Activities Director to bring energy, creativity, and connection to our residents’ daily lives. Reporting to the Administrator, you’ll lead our activity and volunteer programs and help make our facility a place where residents feel engaged, valued, and at home. You MUST have prior experience and proper credentials.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, organize, and lead a well-rounded activities program that supports residents’ social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs
• Hire, train, and retain a strong team of qualified staff to support the department
• Manage and maintain activity supplies and resources
• Coordinate and facilitate Resident Council meetings
• Oversee day-to-day department operations and management responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
• At least 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, including at least 1 year full-time in a patient activities program in a healthcare setting
