Activity Director – Full-Time (Assisted Living)
Location: East Providence, RI
Are you a creative and compassionate professional with a passion for enriching the lives of older adults? We're seeking a full-time Activity Director to lead and inspire a vibrant activity program at Winslow Gardens Assisted Living.

What You'll Do:
- Plan and execute a wide range of engaging, inclusive activities
- Interview residents and families to create personalized activity plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress notes
- Coordinate with other departments and provide transportation for outings
- Supervise activity staff and volunteers, and assist residents with crafts, projects, and appointments
- Promote family involvement and foster a warm, supportive environment
What You Bring:
- Experience in long-term care, home & community care, or similar settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Background in event planning or recreational therapy
- Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care best practices
- Understanding of social work principles and person-centered care
- Creativity, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an assisted living or nursing home setting preferred
- Valid driver's license; preferably chauffer's license.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, per Rhode Island Department of Health guidelines

- Monday to Friday; occasional Saturday
- 8-hour shift
