Actuarial Intern

Main Scope

• Technical support on reinsurance pricing

• Analytical support of data for the purposes of pricing

• Support in research and development of pricing guidelines

• Support in maintaining and creating a database for the purposes of experience analysis

• Technical support to marketing team as needed

• Market intelligence research on life and health insurance products as needed (including but not limited to, benefit and product provisions, benefit benchmarking, premium comparison, etc)

• Preparing pricing memos

Research

• Assist in the research and development of new product ideas from market and industry statistics

Relationships

• Work closely with business development team and participate in projects to enhance client relationships and new business opportunities for the India market

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 papers cleared from IAI or IFoA.

• Previous working experience or internship in a similar environment is not required but will be advantageous

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as Indian colleagues work frequently with their regional counterparts

• Excellent analytical skills

• Good team player and self-motivated

• Proficient in Microsoft suite office, Programming and VBA;

• Excellent oral and written skills in English

Remarks:

• Location: Mumbai (Hybrid working)
• Duration: 6 months or longer. Ideally full time or minimally 3 full days a week
