Ad Sales & Marketing Trainee
The Ad Sales & Marketing Trainee will be part of the IBERIA AD SALES & MARKETING team within NBCU Networks International, based in Madrid.
Reporting to the Head of Ad Sales Iberia as well as the Marketing Coordinator EMEA, they will be responsible for assisting both departments on 50/50 basis.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Ad Sales & Marketing team, you will support the Head of Ad Sales and Brand Manager across a wide range of commercial, marketing, and operational activities.
Ad Sales & Marketing Support
- Support the Ad Sales and Marketing teams with day-to-day activities and projects.
- Develop creative commercial proposals for clients, with a focus on sponsorships, social media, and digital opportunities.
- Assist with audience research and competitor analysis.
- Support the creation of presentations, newsletters, and sales materials.
- Coordinate calendars, agendas, and weekly team meetings.
Campaign & Agency Coordination
- Coordinate advertising and sponsorship projects with internal stakeholders, including Programming, Scheduling, Creative, Marketing, and Social teams.
- Support the briefing and management of external agencies and partners.
- Provide administrative support for Ad Sales and sponsorship activities.
Events & Promotions
- Assist with the planning and execution of events, premieres, screenings, and other promotional activities.
- Coordinate the delivery of promotional materials, digital assets, and marketing elements.
Content & Asset Management
- Download and manage promotional assets from NBCU Passport and other content partners, including CBS, Warner, Disney, and others.
- Distribute images, promos, and content materials to affiliates on a regular basis.
- Maintain and organize content libraries, archives, and raw files.
- Digitize and prepare assets for social media, PR, and marketing use.
Creative Operations (Spain & Portugal)
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of creative materials for Spain and Portugal.
- Support marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and digital activations.
- Create GIFs and other digital assets from selected TV shows.
- Review copy, artwork, and marketing materials to ensure alignment with brand and channel guidelines.
- Send promotional materials and fillers to the Denver (US) team.
- Maintain creative content on the Calle 13 and SYFY websites, including press areas and content updates.
Localization & Production Support
- Translate and subtitle promotional materials, scripts, presentations, and dubbing documents.
- Edit and export video assets, fillers, liners, and other promotional content.
- Ensure all creative materials are accurately prepared, versioned, and delivered on time.

Eligibility must-haves
- A University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Creative Industries, or a related field (degree certificate or diploma will be requested).
- Completion of your studies within the last three years.
- You can work full-time, and you can do a "contrato de practicas".
