Adjunct Counsellor (Youth Counselling)

Summary
Provide individual, group, and crisis counselling to students, manage cases, and collaborate with stakeholders to support youth mental health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family (when appropriate), and group counselling to students.
- Support students with emotional, mental health, academic, behavioral, and social concerns.
- Deliver both in-person and online counselling sessions.
- Manage counselling cases from intake to closure, including follow-up support.
- Respond to crisis and high-risk situations, including referrals where required.
- Maintain accurate case notes and update documentation by the next working day.
- Work closely with lecturers, parents, and other stake holders to support students.
- Participate in case discussions, clinical supervision, and performance reviews.
- Design and facilitate student well-being workshops(preferred).
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or an equivalent qualification.
- Registered membership with a recognised professional counselling body
- Relevant counselling experience
- Experience working with youths or young adults is preferred.
- Experience in case management and crisis intervention.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Able to conduct both face-to-face and online counselling.
