Adjunct Instructor for Environmental Health and Safety

The Division of Engineering and Environmental Studies is seeking applications for an adjunct instructor in Environmental Health and Safety. Courses to be taught may include

  • OSHA Regulations for General Industry
  • OSHA Regulations for Construction
  • Environmental Audits and Assessments
  • Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology
  • Emergency Planning and Preparedness.

We seek instructors who are adept in student-centered teaching methods, equity-based approaches to pedagogy and experience with digital teaching technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a M/W/F or T/TH on-campus schedule; however, hybrid or online options may be available based on experience and need. Course schedules may include up to 3 courses per semester.
  • Course preparation, delivery, grading, and records management for each course for the full duration of scheduled instruction.
  • Be fully prepared for each class session and enforce academic policy and procedures
  • Comply with institutional rules and regulations.
  • Maintain complete course and student records.
