ADJUNCT / PART-TIME TUITION CENTRE TEACHER (English, Math, Science) Job Description & Requirements

SELECTION CRITERIA

-Minimum 3 year of teaching experience in elementary and secondary school or equivalent

-Experience in tutorial centers for primary and secondary students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading one-on-one or small group lessons.

• Provide necessary supervision and consultation with students
• Design learning goals for students
• Assist students with homework, test preparation, and academic lessons
• Help students to improve their academic performance and understand the key concepts of their lessons.
• Develop and provide materials to supplement classroom lessons, including study guides
• Conduct practice test to track progress, identify areas for improvement.
• Give advice and feedback about students’ performance to students, parents, and guardians.

- Must display empathy and understanding towards individual students’ behaviour

- Good communication skills, active listener and a team player.

- Must possess a good leadership skill

- Must have a good presentation skills and systematic lesson delivery skills.
